November and December 2017 RTF Meeting Recap

2017 is drawing to a close and the last two RTF meetings of the year are already in the books. Here at the RTF we are working hard to continue to tee up quality analysis, insightful discussions, and useful work products for the region in 2018. Yet, though we are eager to dive into another year, let’s first take a brief look back at all that happened at the November and December RTF Meetings.

Request for Proposals: 2018 Quality Assurance/Quality Control Contractor

The RTF is issuing a request for proposals for a QA/QC contractor for 2018. Proposals are due December 1, 2017 by 5pm Pacific.

Request for Proposals: 2018 Contract Analyst Team

The Northwest Power and Conservation Council’s Regional Technical Forum (RTF) is issuing a request for proposals for up to six contract analysts (up to 6.0 FTE) for 2018. Proposals are due December 1, 2017 by 5pm Pacific.

2016 Regional Conservation Progress Report Results

The results of the 2016 Regional Conservation Progress Report are now available. In 2016 the regional saved 275 aMW of electricity through utility programs, and the work of NEEA, surpassing the milestone set by the 7th Power Plan.

2018 Meeting Schedule

RTF Moves to Rescind July Mid-Stream Residential Lighting Decision

At the September 2017 RTF Meeting, the Forum took steps to sure up the reliability of a proposed measure analysis and correct what it believes to be a motion made in error with the passage of a motion to rescind a decision.

2018 Proposed Work Plan and Business Plan Released for Comment

At the July 2017 RTF Meeting RTF staff unveiled draft versions of the 2018 Business and Operating Plan, and the 2018 Work Plan. Interested parties and stakeholders throughout the region are welcome to review the proposed 2018 Draft Business and Operating Plan, and the 2018 Draft Work Plan and offer their comments.

2016 RTF Annual Report

RTF staff are pleased to release the 2016 Annual Report, which details the main themes of 2016, and provides a glimpse into work already underway in 2017.

The RTF Seeks New Measure Proposals

RTF Conduit Ed Series Debut

Developing Guidelines for Determining the Reliability of Capacity Savings Estimates

The RTF is currently working with The Cadmus Group to develop guidelines and a tool for determining the reliability of capacity savings estimates generated from RTF electricity savings estimates.

Introducing the ProCost User Guide
